I have
lived and worked with rescue dogs most of my life I decided to put my
knowledge of dogs to good use. I studied Canine Psychology and was
awarded a Diploma with Distinction. My practical study involved shadowing
experienced canine behaviourists to get the ‘hands on’ practice. I
have successfully completed a Foundation Degree course in canine
behaviour and am now allowed to carry the prestigious initials of
A.Dip.CBM (Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management) behind my name. I am
very proud of having been accepted by the UK Registry of Canine
Behaviourists (UKRCB) as a full member. This gives you, the client, the
insurance of letting a well qualified and experienced canine behaviourist
into your home.
I am
also an active committee member (and currently chairman) of the Institute
for Animal Care Education which supports several welfare organisations
throughout the world dedicated to educating people in the welfare of
animals. Recently I have been
awarded a Fellowship from the International Society of Animal
Professionals.
