All my training methods are reward based and never involve pain or punishment.

I can also advise you prior to acquiring a rescue dog or a puppy.

I deal with any problems whether large or small that you may have with your dog. Whether it is barking or biting, jumping up or aggression, house training, destruction or hyperactivity there is usually a cure for it. Some behaviour, however, is instinct driven and cannot be stamped out but it is usually possible to modify it.

BARKING can be a sign of stress. He may be territorial and is guarding his property, he is alone in the house and can’t cope, he is nervous or frightened or he is over-excited.JUMPING UP is something that we taught our dogs when they were puppies. We picked them up and held them high. They had no problem in licking our faces in submission or for food. When they grow up, however, and we can no longer carry them we expect them to understand that they have to remain on the floor. Dogs like to be close to our faces for their greeting ritual in order to lick us and welcome us back from our absence.

HYPERACTIVITY can be food related or due to a restless environment.

AGGRESSION is often fear related as is BITING. Dogs start showing that they are not happy by giving clear body signals which humans often do not notice. A dog will try hard not to use aggression but as we usually do not respond to his body language he may resort to biting.

HOUSE TRAINING is quickly learnt by our dogs. However, they often do not understand why they are not allowed to soil indoors as to dogs carpets feel similar to grass.

DESTRUCTION is caused by many dogs getting distressed when their owners are at work and leave them alone. They either bark, soil the house or become destructive. These dogs will be very stressed and unable to cope on their own without help.
