In 2006 I was filmed at work by the local BBC which was broadcast in April 2006. I have also been interviewed by several local newspapers and even one abroad in Germany.
I have lived and worked with rescue dogs most of my life and when the opportunity arose to retire from a full-time job as a Lecturer in Modern Languages at a local College I decided to put my knowledge of dogs to good use. I studied Canine Psychology and was awarded a Diploma with Distinction. My practical study involved shadowing experienced canine behaviourists to get the ‘hands on’ practice. I have recently successfully completed a Foundation Degree course in canine behaviour and am now allowed to carry the prestigious initials of A.Dip.CBM (Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management) behind my name. I am very proud of having been accepted by the UKRCB as a provisional member and hope to become a full member in the near future.
